META Design

Material source:

Ordinary residential project, waste from renovation of Farglory headquarters

Material features:

Pieces of stone removed during the renovation of the stairwells on each floor along with formwork, iron parts and aluminum materials from construction sites were collected to make the item. It is an extension of the design concept used for the table and chairs in the same conference room.

The lighting fixture is made of an assembly of different materials, including long strips of stone discarded after the renovation of each floor as well as aluminum parts and wood discarded after the ceiling was removed, showing the collision of different materials and the explosive visual effect created by the radiating lines.
The fixed structure between the light fixture and the ceiling is made of recycled iron parts from a construction site (Note 3). Every detail shows Farglory’s dedication to making full use of materials.

Assembled from a variety of materials: wood, aluminum and iron parts.
