Material source:
Ordinary residential project, waste from renovation of Farglory headquarters
Material features:
The pieces of stone removed during the renovation of the stairwell of each floor and solid wood panels from construction sites were collected, remade into this table, and then coated with natural German varnish.
The table top is made of the precious stone removed during the renovation of the stairwells on the 23rd and 24th floors. Large sheets of stone that remained intact after the removal were then cut and reassembled.
The table is made of discarded formwork and pieces of solid wood from construction sites, and its structure is fixed in place using mortise and tenon joints.
Through various construction techniques, the flat panels of various materials were made into a piece of three-dimensional furniture that is completely different, creating a brand-new object that incorporates existing foundations and innovative ideas.
Stone and wooden boards stacked together form a unique aesthetic.
Fixed in place using mortise and tenon joints.
