Waste from renovation of Farglory headquarters
Material features:
Recycled granite discarded during the renovation of each floor was remade into synthetic quartz stone, which was used for the walls, floor and vanity top of each restroom.
The stone used for the walls is made of granite removed during the renovation of Farglory headquarters. The granite was crushed, mixed and remade into brand-new quartz using special technology. Compared with ordinary quartz and other stone, recycled quartz has the advantages of high hardness, acid resistance, and low water absorption rate. The stone produced by this technique is characterized by its large surface area and its ability to be closely fitted to the wall without any gaps.
The granular pattern of the stone used for the walls was jointly designed by Farglory and Saiens. The proportions and colors were adjusted many times, revealing a unique aesthetic in the details.
