Safety nets commonly found at construction sites were recycled, and a new use was developed.
The light fixture was made from green safety nets that were originally used for temporary protection. After trying various techniques, the rough PVC was pressed to form a tight, semi-spherical lampshade.
The porous nature of the safety net allows light and shadow to create a unique, speckled beauty as they dance, whether the light is shining from the outside or the natural white lightbulb inside the lampshade.
